Helping businesses and non-profits work better,
through growth, change, and
every transition in between.
Hands-on work, supporting your business. The kind of help that keeps things running, moves projects forward, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Hi, I'm Andrea Luck.
I started my career as a researcher and observer, trained in marketing research, product design, and ethnography. Questions before answers, observation before recommendations, understanding what is needed before deciding how to address it. That foundation has shaped how I have approached every piece of work across a 20-year career in operations execution, organizational change, and M&A integration spanning small businesses and large enterprises. What drives me is simple: getting into the work, making progress, and leaving things better than I found them. I moved to independent work to apply what I have learned across a wide range of work to other organizations and stay focused on the work I find most meaningful.
How I Can Help
Businesses don't stay still. They grow, change, get acquired, restructure, and outgrow what used to work. This is where I can help, whether you're navigating a specific change, trying to get ahead of the next one, or just need help getting caught up on or developing processes.
Operations & Chief of Staff Support
Sometimes leadership is stretched. Sometimes the team is capable but overwhelmed. Sometimes a project just needs someone to own it. I step in where the business needs it, working alongside your existing team or independently, and get into the details, build what needs building, and keep things moving.
Organizational & Business Readiness
Readiness is not a communication plan. It is whether the people who have to do things differently actually understand what that means, have what they need, and are set up to succeed when the change goes live. I have supported leadership teams and employees through reorganizations, acquisitions, system changes, and process overhauls, helping both sides understand what is changing, what it means for them, and what they need to be ready for it. The work looks different every time. The goal is always the same: make the change successful on all levels.
Process & Back-Office Improvement
Most processes don't get designed. They get inherited, improvised, or figured out by one person who never had time to write it down. I map how work actually flows today, get it out of people's heads and into something repeatable, and identify where the right tools or automation could make it run more smoothly with less manual effort.
M&A (Acquisitions) & Integration Support
I've been involved in acquisitions from multiple angles: deep operational involvement in 3 transactions, one being my own, project managing acquisition committee reporting across 5, and brought in by senior leadership on 2 early-stage deals to provide an independent operational assessment during deal evaluation. Experience on both sides of an acquisition, and owning the operational details through multiple deals after that, gave me a firsthand view of where integration actually gets hard: the systems, the reporting, the people, and the pace.
